Sagrada Familia (Holy Family) Cathedral is being built. The idea for the cathedral was developed in 1875 and much is completed 140 years later. They say it should be done in 2026; but many wonder if it will ever be complete. Antoni Gaudi took over from another architect who had started in Gothic style. Gaudi said he would finish the crypt level, but he would not continue the design in Gothic style. After much debate Gaudi was hired to do the cathedral in any way he wanted, He had quite a vision! After he died 42 architects were hired to take his place. The first picture is a model of what is expected at completion. The other pictures are what we saw as we entered the crypt.
