Fatima - Santorem 1

We visited the city of Santorem, where there was a miracle of the Eucharist. This took place in the early 13th century. A lady had an unfaithful husband. She went to a witch to get a potion to make him faithful to her. The witch said she needed a host to make the potion work for her. So the lady went to communion and kept the host in her hand; the host began to bleed. People came to her because they thought she was bleeding. She took the host home and stored it in a drawer. Once her husband came home, the host lit up. They took the host to the priest the next day and the priest stored it in wax. Soon it became covered in crystal.

We were not allowed to take pictures inside the church, but we did view the host. It did show the blood within the host.
