Fatima - Village of Aljustrel 1

We visited the Village of Aljustrel. The Paroquia de Fatima e dos Pasterenos is the Church where Lucia, Jacinta and Francisco were baptized. Pictured is the baptismal font where the children were baptized.

The Blessed Virgin appeared to the three children Lucia and her cousins Jacinta and Francisco 6 times from May 13 to October 13. Francisco and then Jacinta died in childhood and were later made saints around 2000. Lucia lived to be 98 years old. The length of their lives were told to the children by the Blessed Virgin.
