We arrived at Lourdes and we find it very busy here. First we have the grotto where the Blessed Virgin appeared to St. Bernadette. The Blessed Virgin's statue appears where Bernadette first saw the Blessed Virgin in at least 17 Apparitions. On the 16th Apparition the Blessed Virgin said "I am the Immaculate Conception". We attended mass our first evening in a chapel to the left of the Immaculate Conception Cathedral. The next morning a few of us attended a Spanish Mass at the Grotto.
